Get Recertified as a Wilderness First Responder in Seward, Alaska
The Wilderness First Responder Recertification Course provides a review of all primary topics covered in the full WFR course. Included are assessment and management of the circulatory, respiratory, and nervous systems; assessment and management of the musculoskeletal system and skin injuries; spine assessment; reduction of simple dislocations; and the use of epinephrine and other medications in the treatment of anaphylaxis and severe asthma.
The course is open to anyone holding a current (non-expired) WFR certification from SOLO, WMA or WMI. If your current WFR certification is through a different agency, please contact us before signing up for the course.
What to Bring

All participants must have proof of COVID-19 vaccination. Any further COVID-related requirements for the course will be sent to participants closer to the course date.
WFR Courses Cancellation Policy
With thoughtful consideration, we have revised our WFR Course cancellation policy to allow for more flexibility. The policy reflects our dedication to providing a stress-free booking, and planning experience for you, our guest. Our revised policies are flexible and forgiving, so you can book with confidence.
If we cancel the WFR course for any reason, students will receive a full refund, minus a $10 per person booking fee. If you, the student, decide to cancel your spot for any reason, we will also issue you a full refund, minus the $10 per person booking fee, as long as we receive your cancellation in writing 30 days or more in advance of the course.
Cancellations received less than 30 days prior to the course will be charged in full, unless we are able to fill your vacated spot. If we are able to fill the spot, we will issue you a full refund, minus the $10 per person booking fee.
