About Kayak Advenutures Worldwide

Welcome to Kayak Adventures Worldwide!

We love to share the beauty and magnificence of the Alaskan wilderness with people - and we hope to expose you to, and educate you about, the wonders of the areas in which we operate. Resurrection Bay and Kenai Fjords National Park are both phenomal areas of pristine beauty - and they are best explored by kayak! What a fantastic way to view wildlife, glaciers, and the rugged coastline.

Each year we sponsor a Wilderness First Responder class here in Seward, as we believe knowledge of wilderness medicine is incredibly important in the field. All of our guides hold current WFR certifications as well. We are both Leave-No-Trace trainers, and we strive to provide environmentally friendly trips. Not only do our guides embrace Leave-No-Trace ethics, but we hope they will pass on some knowledge and understanding to you, the client, as well. Even little details, like packing out our human waste and not damaging the beaches with campfires, are important practices to us.  We also are quite concerned with safety, and try to run very conservative trips.  We send a satellite phone out on our multi-day trips into the fjords, and trips in the Bay carry cell phones.  We also spend over a month training our guides each spring... before they can even guide our shortest 4-hour trips.  Maintaining quality on all levels is very important to us.

We hope you'll come out and play with us. Once you see this area, you'll understand why not only sharing it... but also preserving it... has become our passion.  We are not a big company - we are a husband and wife team, who take 6-7 guides into our shop each summer.  Our shop is based out of our house, in downtown Seward... so come in and give us a visit, and get the true local vibe. We try to provide the most flexible and custom booking possible - keeping your interests and desires as top priorities.

Please feel free to call us anytime, or to shoot an email our way. We are happy to answer any questions you may have, and would love to let you know more about what we offer. Browse the website and be in touch! We hope to see you soon....
