Glo has a master’s degree in Environment and Natural Resources from the University of Iceland, where she studied natural hazards, disaster risk management, and the value of local knowledge in Arctic search and rescue. She is passionate about sea kayaking, glaciers, photography, and experiential education in the backcountry. Alaska’s micro and macro communities are incredible teachers, and Glo enjoys working with guests to discover our role in these deeply interconnected geologic and ecological systems.
