Tour Green Carbon Offsets

We've teamed up with BEF / Tour Green to offer carbon offsets to our clients.  We will donate $2 to Tour Green for every person that books a trip.  Just two dollars is enough to offset the equivalent of 150 miles of driving - which is the distance you'll drive from Anchorage to Seward.  For kayaking with us, and therefore supporting this program, you'll get an informational brochure and a set of Tour Green stickers.  Tour Green / BEF are non-profit organizations that support current renewable energy projects and work to create future renewable energy in Alaska.

We, as a company, already purchase carbon offsets for the business as a whole.  We believe renewable resources are an important key to the future of the planet, and we're hoping to do all we can to promote this technology and progress in Alaska and elsewhere.  Together, one step at a time, we can all make a difference. One day, we'd love to get a wind turbine of our own to help run the kayak shop!  But for now, thank you for kayaking with us - and therefore helping to support the environment and the development of these important resources!
