Resurrection Bay Kayak Adventures

Paddle beautiful Resurrection Bay with our well trained guide pointing out the wildlife and natural history of the area.  Enjoy the clean Alaskan air and water from the seat of a tandem kayak.  As well as beautiful mountain scenery, sea otters, harbor seals, sea lions, bald eagles, sea birds and harbor porpoises are all possible to see.  And yes, ocassionally we're lucky enough to see a whale that ventures into the bay on one of these trips.

Full-Day Kayak Trip (8am - 4pm)        $125 / person,  plus tax and gratuity

This trip meets at our office at 8:00 am.  It only requires 2 clients in order to run.  We'll transport you to Lowell Point, where we'll launch and paddle along the west coastline of Resurrection Bay. We'll have the option of entering the calm and gorgeous Tonsina Creek if the tide permits.  We can stop at Waterfall Beach with a 5 minute walk to a stunning 80' waterfall.  We normally stop at Caines Head (depending on paddling speed) for lunch.  (Sandwiches and hot drinks provided)  Some groups have time to hike the trail to Fort McGilvery.  We'll paddle back to Lowell Point for a 4pm pick up.

Early Morning Half-Day Kayak Trip (8am - 12 noon)       $70 / person,  plus tax and gratuity

This trip meets at our office at 8:00 am and requires 2 clients to run.  We paddle along the west coastline of Resurrection Bay with the option of entering Tonsina Creek if the tide permits. This trip stops at either Tonina Point or Waterfall Beach (depending on paddling speed and weather) for hot drinks and snacks, before paddling back to Lowell Point for a 12 noon pick up.

Late Morning Half-Day Kayak Trip (11:30am - 4pm)        $70 / person,  plus tax and gratuity

This trip meets at our office at 11:15 am and requires 2 clients to run.  We paddle along the west coastline of Resurrection Bay with the option of entering Tonsina Creek if the tide permits. This trip stops at either Tonina Point or Waterfall Beach (depending on paddling speed and weather) for hot drinks and snacks, before paddling back to Lowell Point for a 4pm pick up.

Sunset Half-Day Kayak Trip (6pm - 10pm)        $70 / person,  plus tax and gratuity

This trip meets at our office at 5:45 pm and requires at least 2 clients to run.  We paddle along the west coastline of Resurrection Bay with the option of entering Tonsina Creek if the tide permits. This trip stops at either Tonina Point or Waterfall Beach (depending on paddling speed and weather) for hot drinks and snacks, before paddling back to Lowell Point for a 10 pm pick up.
