Sailing / Sea Kayaking Day Trip in Resurrection Bay

This sailing / kayaking package includes: Sailing and lunch provided by Alaska Sailing Tours aboard the 61' S/V Swan and 3 hour guided sea kayaing tour in Kayakers Cove or Humpy Cove provided by Kayak Adventures Worldwide.
This trip meets at Kayak Adventires Worldwide office in downtown Seward at 6:30 am. We'll depart from the Seward small boat harbor at 7 am. We will transport to the protected waters of Kayakers Cove or Humpy Cove where we'll begin the sea kayak portion of the trip. After 3 hours of exploring the beaches and waterfalls and looking for wildlife, we'll return to the Swan for a delicious lunch. After lunch we'll sail Resurrection Bay until returning to the small boat harbor at 5pm.
Thumb Cove Overnight Sailing / Sea Kayaking Adventure
$490 / person (4-6 guests), plus tax and gratuity

This package includes: 2 days and 1 night aboard the S/V Swan. All meals and accomodations provided by Alaska Sailing Tours. 3 hours of guided sea kayaking each day provided by Kayak Adventures Worldwide.
What could be better? Kayak during the calm morning hours in the beautiful, protected waters of Thumb and Humpy Coves. Then sail Resurrection Bay's afternoon day breeze aboard the beautiful 61' S/V Swan. Enjoy delious meals in the Swan's spacious galley. And no camping here, you'll sleep aboard the Swan in a comfortable bed with hot showers available. Our experienced guide will make sure this is also an opportunity for you yo learn about Alaska and it's wildlife and natural history.
Aialik Bay Overnight Sailing / Sea Kayaking Adventure
$700 / person (4-6 guests), plus tax and gratuity
$750 / person (2-3 guests), plus tax and gratuity
We are now also offering a different version of the Aialik Overnight. On this trip, you'll hop on board the Swan... a 61' sailboat... and make your way to the fjords aboard this beautiful vessel. We'll meet at our office at 5:30 am, and be on board the sailboat by 6am to take advantage of the day. We'll load our kayaks on the deck, and enjoy the trip out through Resurrection Bay and into Aialik. We can choose our destinations while we travel with the boat - so we'll spend the afternoon paddling wherever we prefer. Most likely a tidewater glacier - either Holgate or Aialik. Then return to the boat for a delicious Alaskan meal, a hot shower, and comfortable accommodations. The next morning, we'll wake up early enough to take advantage of the day... and get out in our kayaks again. Either Pederson Lagoon or another tidewater glacier will be our most likely destinations on day two. Then we'll once again return to the boat for the trip home.

We offer the same Fully Outfitted sea kayaking trips to Aialik Bay and Northwestern Fjord (read descriptions on "custom multi-day trips"). Instead of tent camping, you can live aboard the 61' S/V Swan when you're not kayaking the beautiful fjords. And the price is surprisingly reasonable. For all sailing / kayaking trips:
All food and transportation included. Paddling and safety gear, kayak guide/naturalist are also included. Just bring yourself, appropriate clothing and rain gear, and be ready for some fun! No sailing or kayaking experience necessary! What a magical way to pass your time in the fjords! Sailing and kayaking near whales, glaciers, sea lions, harbor seals, bald eagles, and black bears! You'll have to experience it to believe how truly magical this adventure can be.
** In addition to the cost above, the sailboat charges a $3.50 harbor fee and a $10 fuel surcharge per person. On trips of 3 or more days, there is an additional $10 fuel surcharge cost per person, per day... starting on the third day.
