Fully Outfitted Camping Trips

If you're looking for a multi-day trip that's easy to pack, plan, and prepare for... and that can be booked on custom dates and will emphasize environmentally sound practices and education... then look no further.  Our fully outfitted trips are geared toward people who are traveling light and / or don't have much previous camping experience or their own gear.  Our trip pricing includes the water taxi, fuel surcharges / fees, and the kayaking costs.  Tax and gratuity are your only additional charges, unless you need to rent some gear items from us.  Trips of any length are possible, so just give us a call and we can most likely set up just what you'd like!

For fully outfitted trips, you are expected to provide:  a synthetic sleeping bag, sleeping pad, and appropriate rain gear, clothing, and footwear.  You will be furnished with a complete packing list when you book the trip.

All of our multi-day trips have a pre-trip meeting at our kayak shop (328 3rd Avenue) at 7pm the night before your trip.  You'll meet with your guide to discuss itinerary, trip goals, gear, and field protocols.

NEW BASE-CAMP OPTION IN AIALIK:

We can also offer a base-camping option using a centrally located private beach in Aialik Bay.  The views from this beach are simply stunning, and we can tuck our camp away in a sheltered area - so we'll be comfortable in all weather.  Since we have to pay to use this land, this base-camping option costs a little more than the standard trips.  But, we have exclusive access to this beach, and you can make yourself comfortable there for the duration of your time in the fjords.  For this option, add $25 / person / day to the above trip costs.
