Are you looking for an exciting way to pass your summers?

Do you enjoy meeting new people every day?

Are you the type of person who can't wait to share the beauty of your backyard with others?

Have you always dreamed of spending summers in Alaska?

Well, then, this might be the perfect opportunity for you!  Each year, we hire a few new guides. Our training program is incredibly extensive, and begins in early May.  It is required for all guides.  We look mostly for people who are mature, reliable, active, fit, enthusiastic, natural leaders, and simply honest, hard-working individuals. The days are long and bright, leaving plenty of time to both work and play! This truly is the ideal summer job.  We ideally look for people who want to return every summer... and grow within the company over the years.

Everyone lives at our shop - so housing is included with your employment.

All guides working for Kayak Adventures must be at least 21 years old.  Guides are expected to be in Seward by May 1 to begin our extensive training, and must be able to stay through mid-September when the season ends.  You must hold a current Wilderness First Responder certification by the time employment begins (we offer a class in the spring, if you need it). We will teach Leave-No-Trace ethics as part of our training. but we do look for people who are environmentally oriented, and previous experience with these practices is very  helpful.
