Classes

We have two types of classes that we run:

Our kayaking skills class is an introduction to the basics of sea kayaking.  We cover information regarding types of gear, fitting the gear to suit you, basic strokes / safety / and rescue techniques.  The majority of the class time is spent wearing drysuits and practicing skills in Resurrection Bay.  We also cover fundamental topics such as tides, wind/weather/waves, Leave No Trace, etc.  Please click on the link to the right for more information!

Our wilderness medicine classes are sponsored by us, but Wilderness Medical Associates is the certifying agency.  We offer a Wilderness First Responder course and a WFR recert course every April in Seward.  These classes provide essential medical knowledge and skills for anyone who spends time outdoors... either for work or for fun.  Please click on the link to the right for more information!
