Bear Glacier Iceberg Adventure

Bear Glacier is an incredible day trip as well as an awesome overnight excursion.  This trip meets at our office.  Our guide will escort you on a beautiful 1 hour water taxi ride through Resurrection Bay, out to Bear Glacier.  The water taxi will drop us along Bear Glacier River where we'll hike for about 30-45 minutes along the river (good footwear is necessary) to our remote seasonal cache.  From there we'll use cached kayaks as well as our feet to explore Bear Glacier and some of Alaska's largest icebergs.  The scenery here is stunning so be sure to bring your camera.  Amazing water and huge ice!  If you're looking for a remote and scenic paradise, this is the trip for you.  Few people in the world ever see this incredibly beautiful place.  Times and available dates for this trip will vary due to tide changes.  Please contact our shop to learn more about which days we can offer this trip, and the times it will run.

If you opt for the overnight trip, we'll tent camp and enjoy the peace and quiet of this remote paradise.  We'll have another day to paddle, hike and explore the icebergs, glacier, and wildflowers of this amazing place.
