Mothership trip to Nuka Bay!

Looking for that unique Alaskan adventure that not many have found?  Hoping to find solitude and seclusion among the glaciers, wildlife, and rugged coastline?  Or have you already visited Aialik and Northwestern, and would love to see some new territory?  Then this is the trip for you.

It's all new for us in 2012, and it's going to be our best multi-day trip yet.  Mike, the boat captain for our mothership trips, has offered to venture farther west this year in search of greater adventures.  Most kayaking trips leaving from Seward head to Aialik Bay and Northwestern Fjord - the two closest and most easily accessible fjords in the National Park.  Weather permitting, as always, this trip will touch on highlights in all three vastly different fjords... Aialik, Northwestern, and Nuka Bay!

We can book custom dates for this trip, although the mothership will not be availabile until early July of 2012.  Just like all mothership trips, we'll need a minimum of two people to make this trip run... and can hold a maximum of four people.  The trip to Nuka Bay will have to be at least five days in length... and honestly, the longer the better!  More time to explore along the way.

Mike has generously offered to provide this trip for only a slightly higher cost than the standard mothership trips... which, given the extra distance traveled, is a GREAT DEAL!  Check out the standard pricing grid below, and then add an additional cost of $400 - which will be split by all guests on the boat.  So, if there are 4 people doing a 6-day trip to Nuka... the cost will only be $100 / person more than the standard price below!   For 2 people, the cost would be $200 / person more.  That's truly an amazing deal.

  3-Day Trip 4-Day Trip 5-Day Trip 6-Day Trip 7-Day Trip
2 People $1930 / person $2465 / person $3000 / person $3635 / person $4370 / person
3 People $1500 / person $1935 / person $2370 / person $2900 / person $3435 / person
4 People $1250 / person $1625 / person $2000 / person $2525 / person $2900 / person

For every person that books a trip, we donate $2.00 to Alaska Wind for Schools to help fund wind turbine installations and renewable energy education at schools across Alaska.
♦ In 2010, we donated almost $4,000!!  Thanks for helping to make that happen! ♦
